The Beginning of Tejas Organics
The journey of our Founder, Akshay Rao, began with a simple but strong realisation during his years at IBM, Microsoft, and Mynd Solutions that people were losing their health faster than they were building their careers. Nowadays, fresh, clean food is becoming rare, while harmful shortcuts in farming have made pesticide-free food difficult to find. This growing gap between modern life and real nourishment deeply concerned him.
Having grown up with the belief that food should heal and energise, Akshay felt compelled to understand the root of the problem. He left his corporate job, went back to farming and watched closely how chemical use on farms impacted both the land and the health of people consuming the food.
These experiences shaped his commitment to organic farming, natural farming, and providing fresh organic produce that people could trust. What began as concern became a purpose: to make clean, honest, and healthy food accessible to every home.
This was the beginning of Tejas Organics, not as a business idea, but as a mission.
